Injection Check Valves

check-valves.jpg A&L Supply carries a full line of injection check valves. Injection check valves are installed in the chemical/fertilizer injection line that supplies the chemical/fertilizer to the main water line. This sometimes is accomplished with a check valve at the pump, in-line to the main water line or at the injection point on the water line.

The check valve acts as barrier so that no back flow is allowed into the main water line from the chemical or fertilizer storage tank. This is accomplished with an approved spring loaded device, some times using a stainless steel ball, disc or rubber stopper.  The spring action is rated by “pounds of pressure” so that the device will not open and allow flow without reaching  the listed pressure first, normally referred to as the “cracking pressure”.

Check valves are available from many of the manufacturers that A&L Supply represents. Check valves are available in stainless steel, polyethylene, nylon, pvc and plastic and 1/4″ thru 3/4″ npt.

Please call A&L Supply today for all your check valve needs.
