We took a dream added effort, knowledge, luck, and prayer and the result was A & L Supply. Our company was the long time goal of Leonard and Susan Lyon, the owners of this privately held company. Leonard as been associated with the agricultural fertilizer and crop protection industry since 1974. With the financial and marketing knowledge he had gained, Leonard believed there would be a place for a quality distributor of sprayer and injection equipment. In the summer of 1986 the company he was working for ran into financial trouble and closed their Othello, Washington branch. This action set in motion the activity that produced A&L Supply.

By October 1986 a team of investors and staff had been assembled and A & L Supply was incorporated. We approached the vendors that had been left without local representation and offered our services to them. A majority of our previous vendors and some key new ones set us up as their regional distributors. This support allowed us to go out to agricultural customers in the Pacific Northwest and solicit (beg) for the chance to become their equipment supplier. Those were challenging days but oh my, how they have been rewarded as we now look back over the growth enjoyed these past many years.

Our staff has been carefully assembled as needs and opportunity presented itself. The majority of our marketing representatives have been producers or employed in the fertilizer/crop protection market place.
